Peter's Story
What a long, and somewhat strange trip it's been meandering through this life.
Diane and I have been married over 35 years. I've been an attorney at law for 25 years, and now we reside in Savannah, Georgia, with our soon to be 14 year old daughter Tiana, who we adore! Diane has her doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and is as beautiful still as she is smart--and patient!
I bounced around SUNY Buffalo after High School, but my father became quite ill and passed eventually and so I withdrew and went to work for a wine and liquor distributor in Queens for several years. Then I finally finished my degree at Hofstra, and went to St. John's School of Law at night while working in the Port Authority of NY and NJ's Law Department. carrier, becoming a rather sharp trial lawyer in the process. Then I had my own practice on eastern Long Island.
Diane and I adopted our daughter when she was 11 months old from China in 2003. Then we got out of the rat race two years later.. Diane retired from JP Morgan Chase and I folded up the practice and we moved to beautiful Savannah, Georgia to a little home on the water in 2005. I now work as plaintiff's counsel in a boutique law firm in Savannah. Tiana is in her last year of middle school. So, even though I am now 62, we have a teenager! It is wonderful. Diane and I did everything we wanted to do when we wanted when we were young. Now we get to watch Tiana grow into a beautiful and confident young woman, and to love her. We are doing well.
