Peter's Story
Hi,
for those of you with whom I haven't had any contact for some time, let me bring you up to speed on how things have been going for me.
Lela and I married in 2001, after becoming re-acquainted at our 35th reunion in 1999. We'd known each other since the early days at Suva St. Elementary and had grown up a block apart. I retired from law enforcement at the same time--33 years was long enough. We settled in Merced, where Lela had been an area manager for Pacific Gas and Electric.

ith her old employer and I formed my own private investigation company, where I do investigations for defense attorneys and fraud investigations for insurance companies. Currently we are working harder than ever and hope to retire again in the near future. The slump in the housing market is keeping us in the Central Valley, otherwise we'd be burning rubber out of town in the search for greener pastures. In the meantime we are still raising my four teenage sons from my prior marriage and Lela is enjoying her grandkids. We're still healthy and are looking forward to traveling. Hope springs eternal.
