Peter's Story
I have lived in Illinois since 1975 (occasional moves) and have had a myriad of jobs. Presently I sell eyeglasses and contact lenses for Costco. I am also a licensed optician and actually enjoy my job. My free time is devoted to hopping on the Harley and just getting away. I also ride a bicycle for the heart since my chest has been opened twice and I have several stents in my heart. Back surgery has made it tough to play golf anymore but perhaps next year. I love travel and have made six trips to the world's most beautiful city, Paris. I get lost in the art and architecture and the people have been wonderful to me. I also enjoy the...Expand for more
art of Florence, Italy and how wonderful the Italians treated me and my Sweetheart when we visited. She endures MS and I push her everywhere but we love each other madly and I think she's a keeper. My daughter, Piper, turned 26 in January and works for the Chicago Cubs, just like her father did 25 years ago. I am pretty happy with my life, have enough to retire but prefer having somewhere to go everyday and interaction with adults. The Harley will be my mode of transport when the time comes to bag work but until then I'll just muddle along. Hope to see some of you in Sturgis in 08 or at the 105th Anniversary in Milwaukee.
