Peter's Story
Life
I live in Stony Brook, NY with my wife and our two kids. We have the world's most cowardly pit bull and I spend my free time playing as much golf as I can manage (12 handicap), pedaling my bike around town, training in martial arts (3rd degree black belt in Shotokan karate), and target shooting (pistols).
All in all... It's a good life!
School
I got my BA in English and starting teaching, then got an MA in theatre and directed school plays. After a few more ye...Expand for more
ars I went back to school and have my PhD in psychology and am fully credentialled in the substance abuse field, as well. Funny how we fall into the areas of life that we need to fall into.
Workplace
I work in Southold Schools as the Substance Abuse Counselor. I also direct the school plays here and run the mentoring program for new teachers. I also maintain a small private practice out of an office in my home and I have a karate school in Southold. Yeah... I keep busy!
