Phil's Story
I read today on classmates how several people from Mayfair had passed away, to young. How several others are in their own battles trying to keep or regain their health. This made me sit back and think a little about my life. For the most part I would say I have lived a lot since graduation. Played a little baseball, owned several businesses, met heads of state even our President. Been on popular TV shows, 60 minutes etc. My oldest daughter, who is a firefighter now, has made it into Cooperstown. My younget son is a LA County Deputy Sheriff. media director for an airlines. I am very blessed where none of my kids were in any trouble while growing up.
I retired in 2001, way to young, but it didn't last long. It would take me two or three days to even wash my car. I got so lazy, didn't like that, where if I did decide to wash my car I would say right after breakfast. Then right after I play this video game, then right after lunch, then right after a nap then finally...tomorrow.lol. Now I think I am ready to slow it down again so I am grooming my son to take over. We are about there.
I do want to wish those I knew while at Mayfair the very best!
