Phil Denny:

CLASS OF 1966
Bensalem, PA

Phil's Story

I was not fond of my school years at Bensalem. Friends, they were the best part of school! And my best memories. After my time at BHS, I joined the Army. My MOS was 94B20. I served at Ft. Bragg, N.C., then at Ft. Lee, Virginia. The rest of my time in service was spent in the Republic of South Vietnam. I worked various jobs starting at McDonald's in NE Philly. I worked my way up to management. Throughout the years, I worked at various restaurants from cook to manager. I left the area to go to college in Barstow, CA. I stayed and lived there for 12 years. Then moved to the Antelope Valley in CA for another 5 years. In August of 1986 I was in a skydiving accident that came very close to claiming my life. I believe God saved me. ...Expand for more
As a result of that accident, I went to Nursing School at Antelope Valley College. I met the love of my life while living in Lancaster, my honey, Suzanne. Now, we are married 30 years last June. There is SO MUCH more, but this is a ton more than most others write. I would be happy to give my e mail address to anyone that contacts me. I am of course, now retired. So, I do whatever I want whenever I want. . . so I could talk to you via the electronic highway! I am now a volunteer at Blackbird Air Park here in Palmdale. I love airplanes and this is a fabulous opportunity. This area is called "Aerospace Valley". It has a long and rich history regarding aeronautics. I hope to hear from some of my old school chums, I have questions!
