Phil's Story

Life Since leaving NELSON MAC in grade 10 I have worked in Broadcasting at several radio and TV stations. I left Radio for several years and became a City Police Officer in Prince Albert Saskatchewan. I left after about 8 years and returned to radio. (Just wasn't spending enought time with my wife of 34 years Judy(Yaworsky)and my 2 children. I got back into radio, worked for 5 years as the Executive Assistant to a Member of Parliment, took a position as CEO of the Good Spirit Regional Economic Development Authority in Yorkto...Expand for more
n, ran and was elected as a member of Yorkton City Council and in 2000 ran as Mayor and now held that Position for 2 terms. Judy and I have 2 children, 1 grandson and two granddaughters. I currently am the Executive Director of the Yorkton Business Improvement District, a contract job where I work from home or the lake. "LIFE IS GOOD" I'm now semi retired at 54 years of age (2007) and spend summer at the lake and winter doing a bit of work here and there.
