Phil's Story
Life:
I live in eastern Pennsylvania with my wife (Jane), our dog (Ruby) and six chickens. Our two daughters, Beatrice and Gabriella, have now gone off to college. My two sons (from my marriage to Patti Miracle) are grown. One (Zachary) lives in Houston and is a lawyer; The other (Sam) lives in Oregon and is an organic farmer. My sons have provided me with three grand-children (all boys).

I am now retired. I still write and attend academic conferences. But I also spend a good deal of time looking after a small business in San Diego. (We fly out several times a year.) Jane and I enjoy traveling. We'll be doing much more now that I have retired from teaching.
My hobbies these days include: guitar (mostly jazz) and photography (I still shoot a lot of film).
My family is in good health, as am I. I consider myself a very lucky man.
