Phil's Story
Joined US Army in Aug 1984, met new and interesting people in multiple foreign countries. Airborne, Air Assault, EIB qualifications. Served in 1st Squadron 5th US Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division from Nov 1984 thru April 1986. nd came home to Texas. Attended college on my favorite Uncle's (Uncle Sam) dime and graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas with a B.S. in Dec 1995. Spent approximately 10 years as a Peace Officer working Patrol, Traffic and DWI Enforcement in North Texas. I have been an SFST Instructor and Field Training Officer. Currently I am a Network Engineer and a problem solver. I am a devoted father to 2 boys ages 14 and 19 and am married. I enjoy deer hunting (with a compound bow), CQB shooting and look forward to time God Almighty provides me in each new day. The Oath I took before God Almighty to the Constitution of the United States and America will never expire. I will always be a Marne Dog-Face Soldier, The Walking Pride of Uncle Sam.
Those of you from Caldwell may remember me from my grandmother having taught 2nd grade for many years. If you remember Mrs Dorothy Stokes or Mr Levy Harry (LH) Stokes, please leave a note.
