Phil's Story
I used to live on Roberts Rd between Braddock Rd and Rt 236. Perhaps you remember attending a party at our house (my folks were pretty cool about the parties for some reason- if they only knew huh)? We had a tennis court at the bottom of the hill and a great patio area. Parking was always a problem. I played tennis and did some theater work in between schoolwork and goofing off. I considered myself a fairly serious student.
Attended Engineering school at the University of Cincinnati and later got my Masters degree. I started working for the phone company in Cleveland after undergrad and was moved all over the country after the DOJ spit up the system in 1984. the years but got into more of the radio end about 15 years ago. I currently work for Harris Corp designing and implementing large Land Mobile Radio systems for public safety organizations.
Since graduating from Robinson, I have lived in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Chicago, San Francisco, New Jersey, Cape Cod MA and now downtown Boston. While moving has been a strain, I cannot say I regret the experiences.
I've been married for over 30 years and have a daughter and two grandsons who continually amaze me.
I still tinker away at the banjo (I still have the same one I had in High School) and have several guitars. Lately I've been repairing and electrifying old violins (my grandson plays) and enjoy doing all my own construction projects around the house. Other than that, I seem to work a lot ;-)
