Phil's Story
I moved to Chicago, October of 1985 and haven't looked back.
I am 42, work out 5 days a week, go to school, work full time, teach part-time one day a week, 5th grade math. This is the highlight of my week. I also coach football and soccer.
My sons are Phillip 13, Anthony 10 both are very talented and smart. I have them full time. I was a single dad for 5 years before meeting my second wife, Keely. We have been married since June 10, 2006. Sofia Kate my little girl was born on April 30 at 3:23 PM, she was 6lbs 9oz and 20inches long. She is very healthy and doing great.
My wife works for the local school district. She is the Director of Bilingual programs. She was a teacher for 10 years at Woodstock High School. She taught English as a second language. She has also taught in the Full Bright program. She taught 1 year in Estonia which is just outside of Russia. She loves to travel so when we can we travel where ever we can get a deal on air fare. is year to Germany but had to cancel our plans due to the pregnancy. We will try again next year or maybe over the summer.
Life is very busy but wonderful. Children grow up so fast. It seems just yesterday I was in high school playing football and goofing around. Now I have children of my own and they are going through the same things I did. Sports, girls, studying..... not really just sports and girls.
I have gone back to school to finish what I started 20 years ago. I will have my Associates degree in 2009 and finish my BS degree in International business and finance by 2011. Then my MBA by 2013. Well thats the goal!!!
I have worked in the financial markets for several years. I build and relocate trading floors, contact centers and data centers. I have been doing this since 1997. Before then I was a systems engineer for Novell, Cisco and HP. Before that I was building IBM XTs and ATs. Wow, hard to believe where technology is today!!!
