Philip's Story
Yeah folks, it´s me. I graduated at Amphitheater because of the credit-rating, but I was at Flowig Wells for two & a 1/2 years, and always a "Caballero"!
After FW, I went on to college at AWC (Arizona Western College), and then on to ASU. Where I met a very famous stone sculptor named Tex Wounded-face, a native-american first-people from the Irappahoe Tribe. He really loved my ceramic work (said that I had a "3-dimimsional eye) so after some consideration, he took me under his wing and taught me everything he knew about stone-carveing. That was quite abit being a "Henry Moore" student himself.
Having recieved my "Master" in stone-sculpture from Tex, I then went on to become a "starving-artist" for about a year. I moved to L.A. and tried my luck for awhile.
I wasn´t so lucky. Not haveing finished completely at ASU was definately a factor. So in the hopes of returning to school (which still costs a great bundle), I joined the army for 3 years, so that I could pay for it myself.
It was a good plan, untill I got very lonely...Expand for more
"defending the fronteers of freedom" as a Cav-Scout. So I ended up marrying the first pretty woman that caught my eye. Right away I started having children.
2 children to be exact, Tom whose now 21, and Nick currently 19. Their mother´s name? Liane. The matrimoniel-union lasted 13 years, but the love for my sons is forever, so I stayed in Germany to keep a good eye on them. I mean, why not? After learning to speak perfect german, finding work here was a piece of cake.
I´ve been working in germany now for 20 years now as a Stone-sculptor / Restaurator / Artist in the "Denkmalpflege" (restauration of very, very old monuments; the oldest of them being 1,288 years old "St. Micheal´s" in Fulda). It pays the rent. (Hahahaha) But seriously, I´ve been getting by quite alright, and I do hope that all of my friends of old have been doing at the very least, half as well (at th least).
I seriously hope that good-luck, love and happiness finds you all.
"Alles-Gute!"
means:"Everything-Good!"
