Philip's Story
Life
I am living in New York City these days, riding the subway to work. I sold my car and am adjusting to letting my feet and the New York Transit Authority carry me where I need to go. I have a small apartment with a nice view of the Hudson River and the Verrazano Bridge, and sometimes I stare out the window as the ships float past. job (I thought). I stumbled into a career in computers through a bizarre set of coincidences and became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer after working up through the ranks. Currently I am working as a consultant to Bell Atlantic in Manhattan functioning as a System Administrator for Windows NT and IBM AIX. I still keep in touch with most of my good friends, and 12 of us from WaRu rented a 40' RV and partied like rock stars in New Orleans for New Year's Eve '99.
