Philip's Story
Phil lived for a time in NYC, raised a family in Westfield NJ, and currently resides in Long Branch, NJ two blocks from the beach where almost every day at sunrise he's out walking. He also enjoys taking his canoe out on nearby inland waterways, crewing on a friend's sailboat for up to 2-week trips, hiking in a variety of places across the US, and traveling once or twice a year to bucket-list destinations. echnology. Phil was an engineer and video editor in broadcast TV in NYC for more than three decades. In 2001 he changed careers to education, first higher ed admin staff, then NJ high school teaching in technology, physics, chemistry and others (10 different subjects in all). Most recently he spent nearly three years on AP test development in physics at ETS. Currently he is dabbling in a third career go-round in web publishing/engineering, along with working full-time-and-a-half at the moment helping to track down 1050 Jamaica High School classmates for our 50th reunion.
