Life Phil Rueger 1946 thru 2009 The Earliest I remember for certen is summer 1951 My older sister Betty and I went for a walk in to town (Brentwood) and during the walk she met another girl who was a few years older walking with her younger brother who was about my age. It turns out betty was looking a place for me to go so she only had to watch our litte sister as our parents both worked. well it work the brother was Larry Mione and he was my age and lived at the end of Adams Ave. So we became very close friends and help each other survive St. Annes up to the 7 Th. grade. That's when we battled a Nun who may have weighed 90 fully clothed. I can't or don't want to remember her name, can anyone remeber her name? well my white flag went up in April enough is enough and left St. Annes. and attended that other school. Now if you attended Catholic school back than you know what i mean. I feared for my life that first week but you know what they were cool they helped me adjust and catch up in some classes and the best part no uniforms. I will say this for Catholic school by Sister ++++ grading I was failing was going to repeat 7 Th. grade, from what I had learned that year I passed the fourth quarter with high enough scores to over come the poor performance's and move on. Brentwood High 1960-1962 More updates to come. September 1964 entered the US Navy. attend Various Electronics training schools for a total of 18 Month during the four years of Active duty.
