Philip's Story
After HS graduation, I enlisted in the Army. Served in Colorado at Ft. Carson as a medical corpsman with the 4th infantry division.
In August of 1975 I left active duty and returned to Watertown (on my own now). Enlisted in the Army reserve/national guard April 1976. I attended college at Boston State college 9/75 to 10/76, but found living expenses too tight and grades suffering.
I got work full time at Ionics Inc. and attended school nights at Northeast Institute of Industrial tech. in Boston, majored in the drafting and design technology curriculum from 9/77 to 1/79, then graduated.

egan a drafting career at Anderson Power products in Brighton worked there 1.5 years. In October 1979, I was married. Have 2 sons now: Thomas, born 7/1980 and Michael born 3/1983.
After 1981, I worked at 2 local area companies. 1986, moved to Taunton.
1994 began working as a designer for Electric Boat, Groton, CT.
2001, retired from National guard. Moved to Connecticut, divorced in 2007. Remarried in 2009.
I like to spend free time sailing, fishing and camping. I also like skiing up north in the winter.
No grandchildren yet, but hopefully in a few years time. Looking forward to retiring.
