Philip's Story
I'm living in Reading, about 30 miles south of Albion. Graduated Western Michigan University in 1975 and 1981. Working for the State of Michigan since 1976 and am thinking about retiring in a year or two or three. I supervised staff at the Dept of Human Services in two counties for a number of years, but had grown tired of two offices splitting my time, and am now supervising in only one office - Hillsdale. h, in Columbus, Ohio, after 3 years teaching English in Japan. Between the 3 kids, I have 4 grand children, 3 girls and a boy. I love them a bunch! I'm married to Peg (from Iowa) for 34 years. My parents both died in 1998, hard to believe its been that long! My only brother, Doug, died in 1996. He had 9 kids, so I have lots of nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews all over the place - Florida, Virginia, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Mexico. Peg and I will have no shortage of places to visit in warm weather after I get around to retiring!
