Philip's Story
Life
After spending 4 1/2 years in the Navy I returned to the carpenters union as a journeymen for a short time. I had gotten married and had 2 children by 1973. I switched careers to the insurance business and began working with Combined Insurance Company of America, its now a subsidiary of ACE LTD ( NYSE ) , we recently bought Chubb Insurance and I am still there as an Executive development mentor. of the time throughout the USA. I remarried in 1992 and now have 4 children and 9 grandchildren age 20 and down to 5 months.The kids are 46,44,42and 41. I live on the 13th green of a golf course in a gated community in Avon, Ct. Over 100 flights a year average. I have recently visited Ireland, Italy and England and have worked in 47 states. I have done ballroom dancing, Irish set dancing, and have served on several community boards. I think of Uniondale kids often with great fondness.
