Philip's Story
I joined the Air Force a couple of years after graduation. While stationed in Australia, I met my first wife. We had 4 children:
Alex - Currently works in the semiconductor industry.
Carl - Computer Programmer.
Leon - Computer systems administrator.
Neil - Mortgage banker.
Since getting out of the service, I devlop embedded computer systems (hardware and software). This is a buzzword for "Computers that don't look like computers". Things like cell phones, cable boxes, TV remotes, engine controllers, aircraft c...Expand for more
ontrols and Mars Rovers. I love my work, but realize that, with changes in the industry, my days of useful productivity are numbered. I hope that when the time comes, I'll be ready to step down gracefully.
In 2002, I married my high school sweetheart. In the years since we split up back then, we went our separate ways, married, and raised families, but we never forgot each other. It didn't take much when we found each other again to know that we belong together. We are now happily making up for those lost years.
