Phillip's Story
Life
Hi Fellow Classmate,
It is wonderful to have this forum to reestablish contact with long lost friends. You may remember, that I joined the Navy immediately after graduation. I spent over 21 years on active duty. During that period I married and divorced twice. All was not lost though, out of those two unions I had three children, two biological and one step. After my retirement from the Navy, I found love once again. This union ended way too soon when my wife lost her battle with cancer after five years of marriage. My youngest graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico in 2005. Between my three children I have seven grand-children, two of which are twins. My children are spread out from Oregon to Tennessee to Virginia. Unfortunately, I am a bit isolated here New Mexico. I'm not lonely, but I do miss family and friends from...Expand for more
the good old days of high school and military service.
After my retirement from the Navy, I decided to make my home in New Mexico, the "Land of Enchantment". I worked for SAIC as a senior test specialist under contract to the U.S. Air Force. Over the years, I have managed to add a few pounds and lose a lot of hair. Because of the rapidly receeding hairline I elected to shave my head completely bald. I will attempt to place a photo on this site upon my return home. I look forward to attending a the next class reunion and hope to see all of my old pals there.
If it seems that I have been ignoring visits to my profile, I apologize. I have been responding to visits, but I think that my level of membership was restricting my ability to reply. I have upgraded my membership to "Classmates+", hopefully I'll be able to communicate with other members.
