February 8, 1956 – March 17, 2020
Place Jr, Phillip M., age 64 of Dearborn Heights, was a lifelong resident of Southeast Michigan. Brother, husband, father, he passed away from natural causes on March 17, 2020.
Phil grew up on Detroit’s Southwest side and was a 1974 graduate of Holy Redeemer Catholic High School. In May 1978, Phil met the love of his life, co-worker, and future wife, Marisa, while both worked at Peaches Record Store (5120 Schaefer Rd, Dearborn).

Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Phil Sr. (2012) and Barbara (2013).
He is survived by his wife Marisa, son Ryan (Lauren), three siblings Susan (John), Michelle, Dennis, and his nieces and nephews Tim, Dale, Nick, Sarah, and Renee.
Phil will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Due to the current global coronavirus pandemic and restrictions on public gatherings, the memorial service for Phil will be postponed until sometime later this year.
