Phillip's Story
Life
I graduated Thackerville in 1958. Then, in 1962, I was drafted by Uncle Sam into the US ARMY! Served in Korea during the two years of Active Duty. March of 1965. I became employed by the Santa Fe Railroad as a clerk. IN July of that year, I married Judy Bullard in
Gainesville, and we are still happily married. I took early retirement from Santa Fe as a Transportation Communications Specialist in 1991.
After having lived in Gainesville for 35 years, we built a new home in
Nortman Estates in Lindsay. We have a farm in Montague County that is enjoyment in retirement. We have numerous types of wildlife and a lake stocked with fish to enjoy. My hobbies include collecting coi...Expand for more
ns, hunting arrowheads and other Indian artifacts and I also hunt and fish some. I enjoy following the Lindsay High School boys and girls sports. I've also dabbled in the stock market- and, the usual
story- have made money and LOST some money. Since moving to Lindsay, a family with four children have become "sorta, kinda-like"
grandchildren. They are so giving to let us share their children as if they were our "REAL" grandchildren. We are included in many, many of their family holiday celebrations as well as other occasions. It's surely nice to be included in their school, sporting events, and church
special times. NO, I haven't found fame or fortune, YET!!!!
