Phillip's Story
Hafa Adai!
Well, I live on the beautiful island Guam located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean were the sky's are blue and the ocean is warm, I moved here in 1991. I have 5 wonderful children, my 3 older children live in California Craig now 27, Blake 23 and Nikki 20 and I have two young boys Tayler 11, and Mason 9 with my beautiful wife Annabelle.
I have been working for DZSP 21 LLC a base operations service contractor for the US NAVY for over 7 years were I am the Transportation Maintenance Manager in charge of service support and vehicle maintenance for Naval Base Guam. Previously I worked for Nissan Motor Corp for 10 years. 6 years as the Service Manager of the Service & PDI Departments.
I enjoy spending time with my family, playing PS3 with my boys, swimming, golfing and bar-b-gue on the weekends and playing some softball l with my company team. My wife Annabelle work for Atkins Kroll Toyota the #1 Car Dealership on Guam as a Sales Associate.
After High School I took over my dad's business Union Town Auto Parts for a while until they moved to Guam. Thereafter, worked at Eureka Foreign Motors, Performance Auto ...Expand for more
& Marine and then finally for Dutra Trucking.
I moved to Guam in 1991 when I got a great job offer to manager the mechanical service area and vehicle inspection for Pacific Tyre LTD. In 1996 I went to work for Nissan Motor Corp as a ASE Master Technician in Automotive and H/D Trucks and in 1999 was promoted to Asst. Service Manager, and in 2000 became the Service Manager. I employed an average of 45 individuals and operate the Service and PDI Departments. In April 2007 I took a new job with DZSP-21 LLC. Supervising the Light Auto Department, in 2008 I was promoted to Maintenance Superintendent and in 2010 promoted to Operations Manager and in 2012 was promoted to Transportation Maintenance Mnagerwere I continue to support our war fighters of the US NAVY and AIR FORCE.
Over the years, I have been able to do some traveling and try to go the states at least once a year, for either business or pleasure. Living in the Pacific Ocean I have had the pleasure of traveling to the Philippines, American Samoa, Hawaii, Taiwan and our outer islands. The only place I have not been back to visit is Arcata, Calif. and someday I will.
