Hi! I've been so tempted to do the Classmates.com thing for years. Just poking around and seeing the names finally brought me to this place.
I am a single Mom with one 24 year old son...yup, a late in life baby. We are living in NY . Life is good. Had a wonderful and memorable career life which started with Sister Germaine's teaching typing and steno. Really busted my tail back then wanting to be a secretary. It paid off! Got to work for Tom Carvel, various attorneys, secy to the President of Miss Universe (which took me to Australia in 1979 for a month working on the pageant), Assistant to the COB...Expand for more
for a company which eventually acquired casinos in Puerto Rico, then after some major surgery...entered the medical field and eventually became Business Manager for various different medical offices. It was all fun until 1996 when I went out on disability. Have spent the time since as a single Mom raising my son who is now 24.
I'm out here looking for all of you, the ones I hung out with at Teen Club on Friday nights or in Lennon Park, the ones I'd share a conversation with in class or walking down the halls, and especially the ones who I never said hello to and should have, but was really too shy to then.
