Phyllis's Story
Life is great and such a blessing! After graduating from Jackson High in 1968, I attended Union University and received my BA degree. During my senior year, I met Bill Robinson on a blind date and married him in December 1970. We moved to Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and began a busy life. I continued my schooling and completed my Masters +45 from Middle Tennessee State University with certification in elementary education and administration and supervision. I spent 35 years in education, teaching most elementary grades and the last 17 years I was the principal at Stoner Creek Elementary. My husband develops residential and commercial real estate. Our 2 sons, Chris, 32, and Michael, 28, work with Bill in the construction company. Chris and Alicia have 3 children-...Expand for more
ages 4, 2, and 1. Michael and Melissa have a 3 year old daughter. Michael received his doctorate of jurisprudence in 2007 and is currently our company attorney. We are very active in the community and own one of the hometown newspapers- The Chronicle of Mt. Juliet. In June I retired from the Wilson County School system and I am enjoying being with my grandchildren and traveling. We spend a lot of time in our home in Orlando and love to cruise. Just before I retired, after pleading for 10 years for a new gym for my school, the new gym was completed and named after me- I am so honored. We love football and go to all of the Titans home games. It will be a lot of fun to reconnect with old classmates and hear about their families- aren't grandchildren wonderful?
