Phyllis's Story
I have been living in Santa Rosa since 1985, when my husband, of 26 years, was discharged from the Coast Guard. We live in area between Santa Rosa and Napa, right in the middle of wine country. My husband is a painting contractor and we have 2 daughters. The youngest is living at home and attending college amd the other graduated Fresno State and lives in Orance County. I have 3 dogs, 2 German Shepards and a pug. I have been working for the County of Sonoma for 24 years, currenly in Juvenile Probation and plan on retiring in about 6 more years. awaii at least once a year. Pretty boring stuff but happy I am here and breathing! I don't think I am anything like I was in high school, thank GOD! I married about 10 years after high school and attempted to stay married and have my kids still like me after they grew up and started to live on their own. So far so good, they still come home for the holidays and are not asking me to pay the therapist bills! I was a much better parent than kid, knowing all the tricks and not expecting them to be any different from me when I was in high school was very helpful. I am happy were my life has traveled, a very good man, who loves me deeply, daughters and a nice home. Life is good!!
