Phyllis's Story
Here's a little diddy about what has been going on in my ife since hs. Got married in 1984 to a guy that i thought i would spend the rest of my life with but didn't( damn the alcohol). I have two children Daniel is 23 currently in Iraq for his second tour.He is married and has the most precious little girl who will be 2 in Feb. her name is Peyton. He married Gary Blansett's daughter Randall. Then I have a daughter Katye she is a freshman at McAlester High School. Loves Ag and FFA. and boys(though she is not allowed to date) She is a really good kid. This is her first year to show pigs and absolutely loves them she named them...Expand for more
Johnny and June.(All of you Country fans will know where she got that from). I recieved my Rn. degree in 1990 worked for years at Muskogee Regional in the Er.and that is my passion.After I divorced I moved back to McAlester and worked in Homne Health so I could spend quality time with Katye. About 16 months ago I had a stomach virus and it attacked my nerves it's a disease called Guillian Barre Syndrome. I was unable to walk or do any thing for myself but i am much better i still have to use a walker to step up on stairs or curbs but they say in the next year I will be ready to go back to work and I can't wait for the day!
