Phyllis's Story
Life
I have lived in Florida for 19 years. My husband of 28 years died four years ago after a long battle with cancer. I have two married daughers and four sweet little granddaughters and one on the way. I have learned to adjust to a new life of being single, and am now enjoying adventure and what life holds for my future.
I traveled to Italy in the Fall or 2007 for a four week tour, and have been enjoying weekend get-aways to the beach, NYC for Broadway shows, and other fun things. This past summer, 2008 I travel around the Baltic Sea, visiting Estonia, Russia, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
I enjoyed a visit to California in December 2008 to see 2 of my travel friends marry each other in L.A.and have now planned to cruise with them in June 2009 and revist Italy, then France, Spain, Portugal, England and Holland.

I usually visit my dad (who just turned 90 in December) & sisters in Northfield, NJ each summer and would enjoy seeing old friends and hearing about your lives. Hope you are all happy and doing well.
UPDATE 2010 - I am now a happily married woman since October 2009. We are building a new home which should be completed in Augugst 2010. Sadly, my oldest daughter Laura died in March of this year. We are all grieving, but God sustains and carries us through the hard times. Her husband and 3 sweet daughters live next door to us, and my other daughter Martha is being a wonderful aunt and caring daily for the girls while their dad is working. Martha's daugther is now 15 months old, and cute as a button. Life can change in an instant - I don't know what lies in the future, but I know that I am in my heavenly Father's hands and He holds the future in His hands as well. I find all my peace there.
