Life
After graduation in '69, I moved to the Bay Area where I got involved in the peace movement. Thirty years later, IÂm still committed to peace and social justice. In between, I'Âve worked mostly as a broadcast journalist and in non-profit management. My stint in radio was in Havana, Cuba where I lived for 10 years and where my daughter Amalia (now age 17) was born. ...Expand for more
Currently I'm the Executive Director of Speak Out, a national educational non-profit organization. I'm also on the Board of Destiny Arts Center in Oakland, a non-profit violence-prevention, youth arts education center. I still write poetry, enjoy photography and do lots of traveling. In Â'69 you named me "Most Spirited" Â and "spirit" continues to drive my many passions!
