Phyllis's Story
Hmmmm, where to begin? Well, Don and I got married about a month after graduation and believe it or not, are still married and actually still like/love eachother!
We traveled around for about 3 years after graduation then eventually settled in Santa Barbara and had a baby. We lived in Santa Barbara for 10 years before moving to Washington State where we have lived ever since. We are now proud grandparents of an 8 year old grandaughter and couldn't enjoy her more.
I spent a lot of years working for private corporation and then realized that I was tired of making "the man rich" so I moved on and now I am a social worker for people who are in need of low income housing.

British Isles and the Netherlands. Our next trip will be to Poland/Russia and hopefully Finland.
Our 35th wedding anniversary is coming up in July, 2010 and we are planning on renewing our vows in a standing stone circle in Ireland.
If I had it to do all over again I wouldn't change anything except I might have been more "open" to other people in high school - I've realized that just because someone walked the straight and narrow path didn't mean they couldn't have taught me somethng. I also might have spent more time paying attention in class so I cold have went to college and pursued a career in journalism.
And that is my life in a nutshell :)
