Powell's Story
I am now retired from the legal business, and decided to further my education. I am taking classes through West Virginia State University in a special grant program. I plan to go into medical research and actively work for National Healthcare in this country. I have also picked up a minor in music (percussion). I have spent a great deal of time in the hispanic community, and have worked and traveled in Latin America. I am married to the most wonde...Expand for more
rful woman in the world (at least, I think so). It took me a whole lifetime to find her, but I could not be happier. Her name is Gina. She is Cuban. I will be finishing my studies in September 2009 and Gina and I, in addition to starting a home, intend on doing some traveling. I would really like to know if there are any plans for a reunion of our class of 1961. Hope to hear from all of you soon. I am now living in the Roanoke/Salem, VA area.
