Prima's Story
Life
During college I married George Engeln. We had two children, Derek and Renee. We divorced after about 12 years. I was a teacher and a single mom for quite a few years, then I met and married Ron Azbell. He had three girls and we spent the first years of our marriage dealing with 5 children who were between the ages of 15 and 23 when we married. Life is easier now. each in an inner city school in Peoria, Illinois and Ron is retired. I intend to join him in that happy state in 3 years. This year I received the "Service Above Self in Education Award" that is awarded by the Rotary Club to one teacher each year. It was exciting to receive such an award as a culmination of my life's work. I am a knowledge junkie and continue to take classes all the time. We live in Chillicothe, Illinois.
