Antonio's Story
Life
My name is Rev. Antonio Smith, BKA "Smylee". I attended Duke Ellington in 83-87.I was a vocal major and instrumenal minor during my time there. I am now the Pastor of Disciple of the Seed Ministry located in Landover, Maryland. It is a youth ministry focused on Reaching America's Youth for Jesus. I have been through the storm and God has bought me out by His grace. I love music and I continue to write and compose songs for "At-Risk" youth in our communities. I would like to get in contact with my old classmates, because I am a strong believer that my past has everything to do with my future.
School
My biggest crush was a girl by the name of Abina who later became apart of the Park Avenue Production's, which was a modeling agency a friend and I began in 1988. The tea...Expand for more
cher that inspired me the most was Mr. Jackson who taught the choir and Mr. Bonds who taught instrumental music. The craziest time I had a Duke was when I decided I was going to drop out of school and I disappeared for about two-weeks, and everyone had been asking about me so a friend of mine named Raymond Lomax told the school I had got hit by a car and died and on the day they had a memorial service in the theater I showed up at the school... Back from the dead! Which shocked everyone. I never knew so many people cared about me let alone knew me.
Workplace
I am now a Pastor of a street ministry where I minister to approximately 3000 youth in the Landover/Glenarden area in MD. The ministry is called Disciple of the Seed Ministry, Inc. I have been preaching for 9 years.
