R's Story
I graduated from Gillespie Jr, high and instead of going on next door to Gratz, where all my friends were going, I went on to Dobbins High school, where I graduated in June 1964. I then went to Saint Joseph's University where I received my BA degree. I worked in corporate fiance in Valley Forge, Pa. for 29 years and retired from there in 2000, moved to central NJ and then worked as a finance credit analyst in Woodbridge, NJ for another 10 years, retired from there in 2010. I have a grown son and two grandsons. I like to travel and belong to a black travel group, we just got back from a 18 day cru...Expand for more
ise to Hawaii. I am the eldest of 9 siblings and they all still live in Philly. I still drive down to Philly at least once a month, I've been trying to contact my Dobbins classmates for a 50th class reunion, which is in 2014, but so far am not having any success. I did contact Dobbins alumni office, which is headed up by Carol Cole Munson, who also graduated with me in 1964, but still no success.
