when february rolls around i'll roll my eyes. turn a cold shoulder to those even colder nights. and by the fire my heart it heaves a sigh for the green grass waiting on the other side. cause it's always winter but never christmas it seems this curse just can't be lifted but in the midst of all this ice and cold our hearts stay warm cause they are filled with hope.
every so often we long to steal to the land of what might have been. but that doesn't soften the ache we feel when reality sets back in.
