Rachel's Story
Life
After moving to Massachusetts in 1968 while Lou attended Harvard Grad School, we moved to North Africa for a couple of years. We traveled all over Europe at the time camping all the way with 2 kids and a dog. We had a blast. Returned to the states and had child #3 who is now 36 years old. Went back to school for my BS and then my MS. Got involved in Amateur Softball first as an umpire and then as one of 18 area Commissioners in the state of MA for the ASA. in town politics having served on the recreation board for a number of years and then on the Board of Public Works. Now most of my spare time is spent making quilts and teaching others how to do it.
Am the proud grandmother of 5- 3 boys and 2 girls. We just celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary and love to travel. In addition to tourning Europe and North Africa, we have been to the French West Indies, Aruba, Dominican Republic, Abaco Island in the Bahamas and lots of other trips.
