Rachel's Story
Life
I got married to my high school sweetheart a few weeks before graduation. We had a daughter in 1979 and another in 1980, then promptly got divorced.
I remarried in 1986 but was widowed in 1992. In 2005 I married a wonderful man who is the answer to all my hopes and prayers. He is a great step-father and step-grandfather.

I took college classes at night for a few years after graduating from Mitchell, but finally came to Texas A&M University full-time and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science in 1988. Only 11 years after high school! After graduation I began working at the university and have been there ever since.
I enjoy far too many crafts and love to read. My husband sings and I play the piano so we find opportunities to enjoy music together, mostly through our church.
