Rachel's Story

Life Well, if any of you actually read this... here's the scoop. Early in 2004, after years of mis-diagnosis, I was diagnosed as being bi-polar. So if you thought I was a little weird in school, that's a good part of it. Well, that and I'm just a little weird anyway. Okay, extremely weird, but that's beside the point. But now being fully classified as mentally ill, I'm assuming my plans of taking over the world will have to be revamped slightly, as our country seems to only elect people who are in denial about their insanity, not those who fully admit it. Other than that and my parents divorcing a couple of years ago, not a whole lot of excitement in Rachel's life. No kids (partially because I don't really like them, and partially due to the whole mental illness thing), not married (partially because I'm not a huge fan of the institution, and partically because my boyfriend isn't a huge fan of it either), and no pets (partially because of the hassle, and partially because of the mental illness thing.) And I'm an accountant, which most people find REALLY boring. But, I was a part of the extremely controversial reconstruction of Iraq, the replacement of vital parts out at the Palo Verde nuclear power ...Expand for more
plant, and I've had the chance to personally abuse hundreds of people worldwide while moving fake money around on a computer. So it's not all bad. :-) I've kept in touch with no one from Tolleson, mostly because I ran into very few of you at the U of A. Most of my remaining friends from high school went to Westview or Cortez. Well, that's it for now. Boring, I realize, but there it is. Have a splendiforous day! Rachel School Fortunately, between head trauma in college and psych drugs, I've managed to block out a good portion of high school. And actually much of what went before that as well. So there you go. College Broke my neck in a car accident in my first month in Tucson. It kind of went downhill from there. I do not recommend pursuing a computer engineering degree with head trauma and undiagnosed mental illness. You end up getting very bad grades, playing musical majors, and becoming an accountant. And no one wants that. Workplace Accounting -- being a corporate worker monkey in a cubicle farm with hundreds of other accountants for nearly five years. Have since moved on to being the sole accountant for a much smaller company. That's about it. Exciting life, isn't it?
