Rachel's Story

I left Stockton in early 1992. I lived in Sacramento for 2 years and then I moved to the SF Bay Area, where I have lived ever since. I was caught up in the dot.com boom and worked and/or contracted with a number of companies from 1995 to 2006. In 2006, I decided to finish my Bachelor's. I stayed at Mills for grad school. I am getting a teaching credential and a Masters in Education. I have two lovely children, two cats and two dogs. I live with my boyfriend of 5 years. In the past 20 years, I learned Irish Ceili dancing, Ballroom and some Latin and swing dancing. I have volunteered at the Dickens' Christmas Fair for the past 9 years and hope to do so for many more. Oh, and I still sing a bit.
