Ralph's Story

Born in Bronzeville, moved to Westside projects then to Maywood. Looking back, I was truly blessed with a supportive family and friends. While at East never realized my full academic potential. Essentially I just did enough to stay eligible for sports. Fast forward to today, earned several degrees, including an MBA and PhD. I've been a mentor to successful family members and others...Expand for more
. Been a college professor and administrator. I'm an ordained minister of the Gospel. Served with some amazing men and women during Vietnam. Served in and with some incredible military and civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Sr. Air Force Chaplain. Loved every minute of that time. All in all, I've never embraced a victim mentality. Victorious in my life through my faith in Christ...
