Ralph's Story
Life
I live in Chicago (last 21 years) and have an infant son. My wife and I married in Las Vegas in 2005, and we spent a couple weeks visiting with family and friends in California. I graduated with a B.S. from Southern Illinois University and I am working as a Manufacturing Engineer for a company that makes circuit protective devices. I served 9 years in the military, and traveled to many countries including Europe, Isreal, Columbia, Brazil, Carribean, and Philippines, while in the service, and as a civilian.
School

High was a fun time for me, didn't take school too seriously, but enjoyed the extra curricular activities.
Workplace
Worked as a journeyman electrician for many years before advancing to a project leader role, most recently promoted to manufacturing engineer at a company which manufactures circuit protection devices.
Military
Joined the Marines in 1976 after obtaining my GED. Spent three years in, got out and went to school for a year, then went back into the Navy for the advanced electronics training. Stayed 6 more years.
