Ralph's Story
I left Nova Scotia in 1961 and joined the Air Force and have never lived in NS since. Retired from the Air Force here in Winnipeg in 1994 after serving over 33 years.
What a wonderful career it was!! Would love to do it all over again. My career took me to Europe where I lived in France, Belgium and Germany and later to Damascus, Syria and Israel. I was only stationed at three postings here in Canada. My postings here in Canada were in Ontario, Alberta and of course here in Manitoba.

o. We did everything from flying passengers, cargo and relief supplies to all parts of the world to refuelling aircraft in flight.
My job involved a lot of math and I must say that all that good math that I learned with Abby Lawrence as my teacher sure came in handy. lol
As I retired at quite a young age, I worked for a number of years at the airport here in Winnipeg and then retired completly.
I still visit NS about once a year and had tried to get posted to the east coast a number of times while I was with the Air Force but it just did not happen.
