I thought I would update my short synopsis about me for you to peek at (this is as of 10/1/21):
I got a football scholarship to Salem College in Salem WV. I went there and realized right away I had made a mistake so I quit soon after arriving. As you may recall, the draft was active then and I knew I would be 'hot' as soon as the draft board realized I was no longer in college (college deferment). I joined the Air Force in December 1968 and retired from the Air Force at the end of January 1993. Along the way, I picked up a wife (we have been married 51 years in May 2021), a daughter (50 now), a son (47), a Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration) and a Master's Degree (Systems Management). , College Algebra, etc., Training Manager, Social Security Administration taking and adjudicating claims, and a Veterans' Employment Representative working for the Virginia Employment Commission. I have been happily retired since 01/01/2014. I am now 71 (can you believe it!!!). In my mind I am still in my late teens/early 20s but my body often tells me otherwise. I have 4 grandchildren (Boy 26, Girl 23, Boy, 13, Girl 11). Like most of you, I am not traveling as much as I would like to and have not been back to Wheeling since our last reunion. I now live in Williamsburg VA. If you want to know anything else, send me a note and I will respond. Yes, I know I need a new (updated) picture. The current 'now' picture is about 7 years old.
