Ralph's Story
The question asked is how do I hope old freinds remember me. The answer is however they want to. Many of the traits I had as a young man are still within me. Yet, the experience called life has changed me so that in fact I am not the same person now as I was then. More together yet also starting to fall apart.
I always wanted to be an attorney when I grew up. My family and friends never encouraged me to obtain my goal. As it turns out, they were 100% wrong. I would have been a great attorney.50% of the people that meet me ask if I am in fact an attorney. Either it is the Jewish name or the way I present my self or a combination of both that gives this impression.
I find it very hard to blow off steam. I will try to seperate what issues are important and what issues I can forget about. I enjoy being alone with my wife. That is my favorite way to relax.
I would be interested in knowing what the wildest thing is I ever did in school. Please tell me. In adult life there are too many things to even begin to talk about.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to know how to get there. I must have my i-phone with me. Always bring a Xanex in reserve to cope.
My hero is my wife. What she went through to come to this country and remain here should be an epic movie. Our story together goes beyond any love story you will ever read. My family is most important to me.
I have been in Dallas for 25 years. During that time I lived in China for a year. not because I wanted to but because I had to. I love China and return there often. I live in a ultra-modern house. It is very cool.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is the kids who were not cool because I bet they are the real leaders now.
I love the fine arts. I also love to help people. I am considered a national...Expand for more
leader in immigration affairs. I do not advetise but each year hundreds want my help. I am not an attorney and hire legal teams for each case. When I help a family all the costs are paid by me. I do not have a 501 3c and will not take a tax deduction for my work. So far I have spent over a million dollars on helping foreign nationals.
My biggest surprise is when the United States Government demanded my wife leave the country despite our being married and my adopting her daughter and having a daughter of our own. The government said Nicole would NEVER return to US soil. I had her back in 14 months. We as a people have no business treating foreign nationals the way we do. The terror comes from within.
While for the best, of equal importance, was the ending of my first marriage. My previous wife and I were together for 31 years and I feel bad about what happened. That being said meeting Nicole was the best thing that ever happened to me. Bitterweet.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the backyard but I am told it will cost $600,000. The house we live in is beyond cool and one of a kind. I live in my dream home.
Best I not talk about parents. No hard feelings just somethings best left alone.
I imagine Mr. Wagner may not be living anymore. Bt if he is I thank him for believing in me when noone else would. His putting my name in hopper to go to Canada was a life changing event. God Bless Mr. Wagner. Does anyone remember Jan Hebert? I was her TA. I was so stupid when we used to grade papers after school in her apartment. Nothing happened so don't even go there.
If I won $100 million, I'd spend it. Sometimes wisely and sometimes not. I know many rich people and they are very unhappy. I never want to be that kind of rich. I wold take care of my family and help mankind as well.
