Ralph's Story
Life
After leaving high school (I didn't complete until later), I entered the military service. I served three tours in Germany, and had numerous duty stations within the United States. I have memorable moments of high school and my military career. Those are memories that will be with me forever.
I got married in 1976, I have a daughter and a son, my daughter is married and has 2 children, and my son is single and has served a brief tour in the Army.
I Retired from the army in the Washington D.C. area in 1983. After retiring from the military, I drove tractor and trailer for one year, worked with the Department of Defense for a couple of years, left there and went with the U.S. Postal Service. I have been there since 1986.
I made Woodbridge, Va. my home. The traffic is bad, and the cost of living is high, but it also has it good points, it is central located for whatever type of enjoyment you may have. I'm enjoying it.

School

back over the years, I've have very good memerable times there.
Although I did not finish high school there, I feel as Gandy High is my graduating school.
I'll never forget the bus rides to school, the fun and laughter on the bus, and Mrs. Randolph the bus driver, will always be remembered.
I have come in contact with some of the classmates, but there are a lot more that I would like to see or hear from.
Workplace
After retiring from military service in 1983, I drove tractor and trailer for a food distributor for one year, worked in the transportation section for The Department of Defense for two years. I started with the U.S Postal Service in 1986, I'm still there until this day.
Military
I intered the military service at a young age, and learned a lot during my career. I retired from active duty in 1983.
I have come across some of my old military buddies since I been retired, I would like very much to come in contact with some of the guys that I was station with in Germany.
If I had to do it again, I would without any hesitation. My career was very rewarding.
