Ralph's Story
After graduating Brick High School, I went into The U.S. Air Force for a job titled Radio Relay Equipment Repair. After completing a Far East tour in an installation squadron while stationed in Japan, I got out with an honorable discharge. After almost a year of problems finding work in New Jersey, I moved to Lakeland, Florida to stay with my father. After 8 months of problems finding a good job, I journeyed back to Brick, New Jersey. Since then I have lived in Ocean County the rest of my life.
In 1984, I met Evelyn, who was to become my wife in 1992 and we've been happily married since then. After 17 years of living in Jackson, NJ, We moved to Toms River and are still here. She has a daughter from her first marriage, who got married a decade ago and now has 3 children of her own. They bought our Jackson house 6 years ago when we moved to Toms River. They still live there now.

r the years, I have worked in warehouses, factories, machine shops, a grocery store, a department store, and ambulance companies. I have been a computer programmer, painter, electronics tester, and truck driver. I have recently graduated from T.H.E. Technologies as a Technical Support Specialist while gaining a CompTIA A+ certification. I'm studying now for the CompTIA N+ certification test. I'm currently unemployed and hoping for a break soon for a job.
Since I graduated from Brick High in 1978, I have lived a good life with no regrets, other than losing numerous jobs unfairly that I loved and miss a lot. Despite the downsides of my life, the good parts well more than make up for it. Maybe there's some more happy adventures yet to happen for me.
I always wanted to be a astronaut when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a far fetched idea. As it turns out, they were right.
