l to other cities and countries, Taiwan (Island), Seoul, Pusan, and Osan, South Korea, Nagasaki Japan, and Kadena Okinawa Japan all beautiful and historic with cultural excitement through out every place we went to, different in some ways but the same as ours. Then move to northern California, Travis Air Force Base, just northwest of Oakland, for only a few months Feb - Oct 1980. When I got married to Debbie Lambert of Leavenworth Kansas, my running partner which we met at Clark Air Base, Philippines. Move on to Torrejon Air Base, just outside of Madrid, staying for a few years. Oct 1980 – Jan 1984. While there on our off time, we traveled the Mediterranean side of Europe. We saw in Spain many castles, water ducts, walked on cobble stone roads, and much more, yes and even saw the windmills Don Quixote would play with. Went to Athens, Greece, breath taking, and the island of Create, both with its historic ruins and breath taking beauty. We also went to Italy, starting a Venice, great history, rude people at Venice though, from there of to Rome that was fantastic, I’m talking Spanish to them, they are talking Italian, and we understand each other. The ruins were right out of our history books, and to be walking around and just standing at the Vatican was something in it self. Then on to Naples, where the water meet the Garza’s. from San Benito, Texas. Mucho, much, more to say on our travels. Southeast Asia to include Singapore; Bangkok, Thailand; Ku a la Lumpur, Malaysia; Jakarta, & Bali, Indonesia; Kenya Africa, Guam, just some of the adventures. We did all this back-packing and mixing of culture differences, by having great memories, yes even Venice without the locals. So today we are on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii learning the Hawaiian way of life which is so relaxing……..
