Ramon's Story
I have God, a loving family, beautiful wife and two daughters. After having the opportunity to serve my country in Army Artillery (13C/ 13D) for eight years, I left the service as a Staff Sergeant(P) and decided to enter the career I've always dreamed of since childhood. After 7 months of intense training at the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Academy, I reported to my chosen duty station in South LA Area as a wet-behind-the-ears rookie. strano Area (Orange County, CA) for several years and now patrol the "High Desert," in San Bernardino County.
Since 1999, I have been fortunate and humble to serve California's citizens and visitors, but aggressive and fair enforcing its codes. I've seen the funniest capers and some of the most tragic. No matter what, I wouldn't change my career with anyone.
*No matter what state you travel, obey the maximum speed limit, buckle-up, DO NOT drink and drive and check the rear-view mirror for Smokey (aka Chippie, Full-grown, DOT, Officer, Trooper, Statee, Bear).......you get the point!
