Ramona's Story
Life...as of 1/31/2010!
I have been married since October 10, 1987 to Christopher Bellamy from my class (New Milford High 1985). We had a beautiful daughter, KayLee Elizabeth, in September 1992.
When KayLee was six I went back to school at Berkshire Community College in Massachusetts for my Associates degree in Business Software Systems. I was recognized as one of the top 5% students with a 4.0 GPA, and also became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
In March of 2003 Chris and I were proud to announce the birth of our son, Kenneth Andrew. We waited 10 yrs. because we have KayLee in a private school and wanted our next child to have the same opportunity--financially this was the only way to do it! In June of that same year I did receive my Associates degree in Business Software Systems.
In 2004 Chris and I purchased 7.22 acres of land in NY, and Chris built our home from the ground up. This was done mostly by himself. I took time off from working to raise my son during that time, and to our surprise I got pregnant again (and I only saw Chris ONCE, while he was building our home...I guess once was ENOUGH!! :)
In March 2005 our second daughter, Kendra Louise was born. Since then I really have not had any time to be able to use the degree that I went to school f...Expand for more
or, but...oh well! Raising children is much more rewarding! It's too bad you don't get paid for it!!!
At this point in time, I work at KayLee's small high school as their Office Manager for three mornings...that's enough time away from my Kendra! Chris is self-employed contractor with a company name (I made up) CLB-123 Handyman Services...ain't it cute! CLB are his initials and 123 is how quickly he can get things done! We have been enjoying life in NY (but not the taxes), Kendra will be turning 5, and Kenneth 7 in March 2010. KayLee turned 17 this past September, and is in 11th grade...Man! where do the years go!
To think in one year, when KayLee turns 18 years old that is the same age that Chris and I started dating! That's right! We started dating October 10, 1985 and got married October 10, 1987. Hard to believe that we are both 42 years now, and I will be soon 43 in April. We will be celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary in October, and 25 years together! My older daughter KayLee said we need to do something real special this year even though it is not our 25th yet, but since it is 2010 and we got married October 10th. This year it's 10-10-10, so we'll have to take a picture at 10:10 am and 10:10 pm that day! :-)
