Ramone's Story
Hey all, just gonna make this short and sweet. After high school, I stayed at Kroger for about 3 more years, and then finally decided that wasn't going anywhere. So, I went to nursing school. I did the LPN, and then the RN program, thru JALC, and ended up working for Hospice of Southern Illinois. Crystal and I got married in May of 2004. We spent 7 days in Key West for our honeymoon and can't wait to go back. And in May of 2005 we had our first baby, Blaine Alan Mayo. His middle name is after Brandon, Crystal's brother, who passed in 1999. You all may remember that. Crystal works for JALC in Student Success. Then we had Brooke Marie in 2008. In 2004, just after I started with HSI, my mom was diagnosed with metastatic ovarian cancer. She battled with it for 5 years, and has finally chosen hospice care where she lives. ortable now. Anyhow, we like going to the zoo in St. Louis, and the Magic House, and the park, and all of those wonderful places that little ones love to go to. Blaine and Brooke love going to Chuck E Cheese. Life has been blessed for us. If you would like to send me any personal email, you can send it to my work. Blaine is currently in his second year of Pre-K at Washington Elem. in Marion. In 2005, we bought our first home. Overall, life has been pretty good. Those of you who may remember me from high school may not have thought I would be a nurse, heck, I didn't think it was anything I would ever do, but it has been a blessing to me and my family, as well as to the families that our company serves.
